Job Description: iCAN Staffing Agency is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and improve the quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology service to patients in the facility.
• Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Utilize professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate, and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments including audio logic screening.
• Observe, record and report changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment to supervisor and/or the physician.
• Provide instruction and training to patients in the use of alternative communication systems when appropriate.
• Provide counsel and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications:
• A degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
• Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech-language pathologist
• Current and unrestricted license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
